      Morocco Open 2011

      2011 Morocco Open - ITTF Pro Tour,14 - 17 July 2011

The Morocco Open 2011 has began. This is going to be a big tournament, so lets get started and discuss the seeds. We can use this thread as a means to display the results, videos and latest news from this fantastic event!

Vladimir Samsonov enters the tournament as the number 1 seed defending his title for 2 years in a row. Samsonov has been the Morocco champion in 2009 and 2010. Who will stop him?

In 2009 and 2010 Vladimir Samsonov won this prestigious Pro Tour in Morocco. He will defending this title this year. The mens seeds are as follows...

      Mens Draw

      1) Vladimir Samsonov

As we can see Vladimir Samsonov is the number 1 seed and will be looking to win this event for the third consecutive time. Can anyone stop him?

Perhaps Marcos Freitas or Saive can take on the mighty Vladimir. Carlos Machado reached the Morocco Open in 2009 losing out closely to Samsonov.

The womens seeds are as follows....

      Womens Draw

Should be Samsonov. But maybe Saive, Freitas or Lebesson can bring a suprise, but I don't think so.

Hahaaa, My vote will win I hope!
Just now Saive beat Achanta, right in great style..
He was leading 3:1 in games, hardly winning each from those 3 he got on board..
Then he completely turned off, or better.. looking at his game - turning into an experimental rythm..
Tryed some things.. lost 11:1 .. to win next game and the ticked into finals..
Anyways, I cant see him beat Samsonov, simply for that a miracle has to happen

Heheeee, I just saw Vladi and Saive sitting close to each other, talking about something..
Lol .. they have to be friends
They even played in Royal Villette Charleroi I think.. They won Liebherr European Champions League together..
That was I think in 2000 or 2001 .. Samsonov, Primorac and Saive I think..

      I hope the same!
Anyways if I would be there with some my friend, I would deal with him to play first 2 sets just exhibitions..
So that after first 2 sets it would be 1:1 .. and then we would start to play seriously..
And also when it will be obvious, that one will win, we would start exhibitions from that point again
What do you think, what will they do?
